Boring weekend..

This past weekend was definitely a boring weekend. Due to me being on-call for work we weren't able to do much. Saturday was spent by going to Target to pick up a few goodies for Little L and going to Bev's to get Little L's pictures framed. (It's amazing how much life changes after having a kid in regards to what we focus our time on. But I don't think we would change it for the world.) Bev's was also the place Little L had his first of many public tantrums over the weekend. Late Saturday I had to be on a few conf. calls so Jenn made up some frozen pizzas for us to enjoy for dinner. We had plans to go get ice cream after dinner but unfortunately I got called into work so we made it a family trip and we all headed to the base. After work we went as a family to do my work at the church (isn't there a saying like "A family that serves together stays together"?). Sunday morning was a busy morning with church meetings and a little work. After church Jenn and I were looking forward to taking a small nap, Little L on the other hand had other things planned for us. He did not want Mom and Dad to sleep! So we played on the bed and got him to laugh for us a little. We had Sunday dinner up at G & G Harlow's followed by another family trip to the base. After a long day we looked forward to a good night sleep, well two of us did anyways, Little L wanted nothing to do with sleep again. He kept both of us up till 1 am (okay I lasted till about 12:15 but his trooper Mom endured the screams until 1:00). He did sleep until 9:00 this morning, so we all got some rest. I'm back at work tonight (Monday) and Jenn says Little L has been sleeping a good portion of the day today so we'll see what the night has in store for us.............
