The Leatherows sent Summer out with a bang, we had such a fun Labor Day Weekend! Josh and I were off together for 3 days in a row, which is a very rare occasion, so we wanted to make sure we did some fun things with Liam. We took him to the Treehouse Museum on Saturday and had a blast. It was our first time there, since like Elementary School, and Liam's first time ever. He loved it!! There were so many things to run around and see. His favorite two things were the sheep that moved and the cow that you could milk. The cow had sort of lifelike utters that the kids could squeeze and water comes out into a bucket. The sheep was fenced in a pen, but moved it's head up and down which Liam thought was cool. He also loved running into the different little houses to check things out. I think we are going to get him and annual pass because we will for sure be going back.
We spent Sunday just hanging out after Church and had the best pot roast I have ever cooked for dinner. It was so yummy!!
Monday we went to the Dinosaur park, which I was sort of disappointed in. Liam had fun just walking around and playing on the playground, but not so much fun for the adults. Just a whole bunch of dinosaurs in weeds that make some noise is not that interesting. It was fun to watch him play around and explore, but I don't think we will be getting passes for there anytime soon. I think it is a good place for elementary school field trips!!
That was our fun filled weekend! Now if it would just cool down so we can welcome Fall...we all love Fall. Anyway, enjoy the pics and we hope everyone had a great weekend as well.
