Walking and Swimming

This is a few days behind, but every time I think I have some time to sit down to blog, something else comes up. Anyway, last Tuesday when it was really hot I got Liam's pool out and let him play around in it. It was the second time he has used it this Summer and it was a bigger hit this time around. He loved it! It felt so good I had to stick my feet in as well. He played around for a while, until he got tired then he came in and went right to sleep. He loved climbing in and out over and over. He also loves to play with the turtle's head (I failed to mention the pool is a big turtle) because you can hook it up to the hose and it sprays water. Good times! I'm sure there will be many more pool adventures as the Summer continues.

Liam started walking on his own!! He has been walking with help for a couple of months now and would take an occasional few steps on his own, but now he is walking everywhere without any help. He is still pretty unsteady, but it is so cute. So, I would say he walks about 80% of the time and crawls the rest. It is so fun to see him learn and discover new things...he is so amazing and cute!!

We haven't sold the house yet. We have a lot of lookers, just no takers. Josh, with the help of his two brothers and quite a few nephews, are going to put on a new roof July 9-11 (food, drinks and entertainment for those that might want to stop by and help) so hopefully that will peak some more interest. Oh well, we are in no hurry to move and will just keep it on the market as long as it takes to sell.

I think that is all that is new here. Oh, we want to send out a congrats to our 2 nephews Logan and Colton. Logan was awarded his Life merit badge for scouting and Colton was ordained a Deacon today so congrats to them. We are so proud of these young men and we love 'em!!
